Note: This is generic, standard privacy policy language appropriate for a small software/ERP consultancy. It reflects the practices described in this document honestly, but it is not a substitute for a lawyer’s review, particularly for specific regulatory compliance claims (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) or retention periods once real systems (comments, Q&A, newsletter) are live. 1. Introduction
Afrixh Solutions (“Afrixh”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Odoo ERP implementation, custom software development, and AI and analytics services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using this website, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. We may update this policy from time to time, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
Information you provide directly, such as when you submit our contact form: your name, work email, company name, phone number, the service you’re enquiring about, and your project brief.
Information collected automatically, such as basic technical data (browser type, device type, pages visited) that most websites collect to understand how visitors use the site and to keep it running smoothly.
If you become a client, any business data you share with us during project discovery, implementation, or support is governed by the terms of our separate service agreement with you, not by this website policy.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to your enquiry and follow up about your project; understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it; and, only if you’ve actively subscribed, send you occasional updates such as our Insights newsletter. We don’t use your information for any purpose beyond these without telling you first.
4. Data sharing & third parties
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for marketing or advertising purposes.
The information you submit through our contact form is used only by Afrixh, to respond to your enquiry.
We use Google Analytics to understand overall visitor traffic to this site (for example, how many people visit and roughly where from). This gives Google basic, mostly anonymous browsing data, it does not include anything you type into our contact form. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.
5. Data retention
We keep enquiry form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and maintain a record of business communications, typically no longer than needed for that purpose. If you’ve subscribed to our newsletter, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you’re located, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. If you’d like to exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 8 and we’ll respond as required under applicable law in your region.
7. Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics, which places a small cookie in your browser to count visits and show us general traffic patterns, like how many people visited this month and which pages they looked at. It doesn’t identify you personally, and we don’t use it to show you ads on other websites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so won’t stop you from using the site, it just means our visitor counts will be slightly less accurate.
