Would a booking system be better as a custom build or an Odoo module?

We take bookings for on-site work and already use Odoo for invoicing. Is it better to extend Odoo for bookings or build something custom that talks to it?

If your booking flow is close to standard, configuring Odoo keeps everything in one system. If bookings depend on rules Odoo can’t model cleanly, a small custom front end connected to Odoo is usually easier to live with. We’d look at the actual flow on a call before recommending either.
